I'm just saying it sounds like something I could see Drake putting out when in that era of hip-hop. I said "it sounds like 2011-2013 Drake" and not "this sounds exactly like TC and NWTS" for a reason.
Just saying it sounds like old Drake music to me. And just gave a arbitrary timeframe.
And didn't even say it was good as old Drake music.
"Decent" as in "it's kinda like that if you're itching for an old Drake sound. But it's not quite as good as him"
Plus all this also hinges on the idea that I don't even thing Drake is some high standard for rapping skills and singing skills. Don't think Jack Harlow's rapping and singing ability is THAT far behind Drake early in his career 🤷🏾♂️
I understand singing, because drake is not a particularly skilled singer, but rapping??
have you heard this?

@MrIndigo96 goldlink! that's what i was thinking of
yup just posted it a couple post ago lol
TUNECHI B**** I'M GNARLY GIRL YOU COULD PICK YOUR POISON
WHY WAYNE SOUND LIKE DEDICATION 3 WAYNE
oh word? when was this delivered? when we saw them pictured together on that trip?

nigga i never do this but...POISON WAYNE ONLY VERSION??
Wayne and Cole legit been on a run these last 2-3 years featured wise

Jacks second verse and the beat switch are fine. I just wish we could cut off his first verse.
bro just threw the tracks up on the board and didn't bother to sequence. Nail Tech has a lot of energy to be the second to last song I feel like. and it was a single lol. shoutout to him for having only legends on the album and putting them all on the back half though. confidence

You need a brain scan
Not at all. I kept saying this in other threads and people kept ignoring it lol.
People just like to roll with the label marketing as if his past work doesn't contribute to what we say about him lol
Dam.
If this was debut then I'd be like.
Get em next time.
But nah you can't be missing this late in the career
baby blue g class i feel like a kid again
my nigga had fun with this verse. highlight of the album so far lol
Best verse on The album
State Fair is dope I like the first verse and how it builds until the song gets into its groove. feel like it could've worked as the intro too

That's what I said lol.
I'm like this shoulda been the intro
yeah man idk. the second half picked up a little bit but I don't really find anything in Jack's music to make me come back to it. nothing distinct. to bring up the last white rapper as poppin as him, Post had something special from the start. I don't see it with Jack. seems like he'll be around for a while though so I'll be interested to see him develop and whatever.
Drake and Wayne carried.
He uses the same flow throughout the whole album but album wasn’t terrible. If you expected him to be the next Drake I could see why you disappointed but my expectations weren’t that high
G Eazy is better than this guy
Bullshit
This album is solid, the production is definitely the highlight of this album. The Drake influence is heavy on some of the tracks here but overall it was nothing too crazy but wasn’t trash either.
