Anyway, from what I got from this album is that Jack absolutely is capable of making a great album. There are a lot of moments that shine on this album that IMO get overshadowed by the s***ty parts (not saying they shouldn’t)

If he took the time to craft up an album full of songs like State Fair, Churchill Downs, Parent Trap, Young Harleezy, it could be genuinely great.

But will he? Can he? It seems like the label is trying to prop Jack up to be the next big hit maker and it’s working so far. So unfortunately I don’t see songs like First Class getting cut from his tracklists anytime soon because they work. The labels aren’t going to let him put out an album full of those tracks without adding a few First Classes and Movie Stars

It's not a make or break moment for jack yet tbh. He has nail tech and first class which are big enough to hits to keep him relevant till next album.

The problem is not the beats(might be his best prod ever on this album) but it's jack's delivery.

Even that weird "am I fancy enough" hook on young harleezy couldve been dope if he said it with a little more confidence. He might need a vocal coach just to play with inflections in his voice a little more. I agree with a lot of yall here, he was trying to rap more than ever instead of making good songs with infectious hooks. He barely tried to sing or at least play with melody when it results in songs like this:
