And Margot Robbie, Jessica Chastain, Florence Pugh, Zendaya, Anya Taylor Joy well on their way

Amy Adams too (might have debuted prior to 2000 though)

She was in ' Catch Me If You Can' and since then has racked up blassic after blassic

An icon is someone or something revered

I think it’s easier for you to acknowledge someone who’s been acting before you were born as an icon vs someone you saw come up but that doesn’t mean some of the people listed aren’t considered icons
