Massive. There was a huge underground frenzy surrounding him and what exactly these tracks were. There was nothing like them out at the time & nothing really out to that level today either. His MySpace comment section had praises from Sky Ferreira & Rostam.
There was a huge bidding war and talks about who this kid actually was. You have to remember that were was about a 2 year wait between BTSTU & Jasmine and in-between that time, he'd been sampled by powerhouses like Drake and Beyonce. Played extensively on BBC Radio and other stations by DJs across the country, discussed on forums and featured in Grand Theft Auto V.
He only ever gave one small interview and the mystery just peaked when the project leaked.

they were never a hit or anything but caught attention of musical blogs and forums
Jasmine ended up on GTA 5 tho, so got exposed to a very big audience

do you guys think Jai would benefit more from the old album rollout method?
Release one single before dropping an album and then a few more singles after its been released? I feel it'd be more fitting for him rather than what the norm is now where artists release ~5 singles from the album before release.

Don't even think he would drop anything as a solo artist anymore. But who knows guy might do a D'Angelo and drop smth while we are in our 40's

Do people keep hope alive based on the expectation of polished Leak level album (unrealistic IMO) or would you be as happy with a full length in the style of what has already been indicated by his recent work/collaborations?

I wouldn’t consider the leak a polished project.
Me personally I just find his music on another caliber compared to his contemporaries so I look forward to whatever he puts out in literally any capacity.
While his old sound from the leak is more dynamic, I’d be perfectly happy with an album that ends up being more like his recent work.

Are the Jasmine S.E vocals taken from the Bronze AI stems or did Jai rerecord them for the vinyl? If so, this will probably be the only time he would revisit a track from the Bait Ones era..

Not sure how people received the new tracks but the entire 80s sound the Paul’s love would probably garner the “it’s good” reception. Now if he came back and dropped something with that Bait Ones experimental and future electronica sound then yeah I think it’d be completely worth it and would be viewed as a masterpiece.
I like the PI sound, the tracks are nice but after a couple of plays I have to put them down whereas Bait Ones is timeless, I can play this whenever and wherever. It’s fresh and unpredictable in its sound.

no matter what he drops it just won’t live up the hype tbh even if it’s better than leak cos people too attached to that album and that sound
