Are you able to tell me why he’s hesitant to release more music? I thought after the double release of He & the other single, he’d start to release more tracks

I couldnt tell you cause idk, but the leak and how everyone around him handled it, coupled with the audience’s conception of him after the leak really f***ed up his psyche.
After reading that letter i understood how oppressed and isolated he mustve felt during that time, So imo its not far fetched to say he is mostly done. even in the letter he stated he was barely starting to make music again and he was merely thinking about coming back. Those 2 tracks were started during the leak era and he picked em back up years later.
he is 90% taking a permanent backseat driver role in the industry. i can see him dropping loosies here and there, but theres no way to know when. And there def aint no album otw.
Hopefully im wrong and he comes back as a full fledged artist

you also have to understand that when someone spends years working on songs only to have them stolen and leaked to the public in garbage audio quality, it can essentially feel like those years of your life were wasted, no matter how much the public loves and appreciates the pieces
i do feel like there has to be a triumphant arc to this story though, and i feel like him officially putting out the demos last year was the first step in said arc

yup, it was deeprer than the music and audience reception. it was a huge breach of trust and wasted work. knowin how much of a perfectionist jai is and how obsessive he is about his music, leaking that was prolly equivalent to a psychological kidnapping of some sort
