FTBYH lowkey underrated 3bh
May have to revisit - it's genuinely the only spot in his discography as of now that I didn't love
You’re right; Bad Cameo was a misunderstood classic
I will vouch for Bad Cameo tbh, it's not great lmao but for what it is I enjoy it for a chill, stoned listen

I thought every song on that album was quite solid, except it still suffers from what I call the two-song curse, in which every JB album following the debut has two songs I really don’t like lmao (in this case it’s "Coming Back" and "Funeral").
Lost Angel Nights could be considered one of his best songs ever, and he went hard on I’m So Blessed You’re Mine
Used to f*ck with a lot of music of James's music until i found out that he one of Colloseum's founders actual son kinda lost respect for him ngl specially with the whole vault.fm thing seems quite hypocritical from where i stand
He lost me when he went electronic but I’ll be seated for a listen
Heard he repurposed a WAR track on here

I feel like he leaned in a lot at one point, when I got into him he was a bit more spacey and had interesting vocals, I haven’t been following him from the start tho so maybe he started electronic idk

Loved Playing Robots Into Heaven. He had me worried for a min there with Friends Who Break Your Heart, but it seems like going independent was the right creative move for him.
No lie it was his first album I’ve enjoyed since Overgrown
if you listened to war and feel the need to defend it you need to take the nitrous mask off immediately
I’d say the same if you feel the need to hate on an unfinished demo
never listened to it. tripleposted for notn
