He’s already interviewed him, and they talked about some of the low scores he’s given James in the past, and James agreed with him on the criticisms he was making lmao
This review wasn’t cap
yeah I watched it they also didn't record it lmao
just not clicking for me at all.
Yeah same. I have loved every project till this one ... maybe after some time it will happen but rn its not for me at all
This is my first album after familiarizing myself with him
It’s cool, still think Colours his best performance
I think he’s doing too much in terms of mainstream collaboration. I don’t think his own work is fit for that at all and he should instead be going mainstream on other peoples stuff while exploring on his own catalog

one of favourite albums, i'm not sure if its in my all time list, because its only been a month since it came out, but almost every song I love. I love that feeling when you listen to one song for 1 or 2 weeks straight. which what I honestly felt listneing to his album. His songs just hook me in.
I enjoyed this album but I kind of miss the heavy electronic James

fr, this was sad
Also, I had no idea he's with the girl from The Good Place. Reading her Wikipedia page was crazy, she's like a pathological liar or something
Bruh I use to think she was so bad on the show I think something is wrong with her lowkey
Anyone else remember that thread where it said James used to get bullied in cod 4 lobbies for eating hummus

Right, I just looked it up and it’s true. Miles Johnston is insanely talented, been following him for a long time now.

In several UK interviews in 2013118 as well as on 1 October 2018 episode of Good Morning America – complete with video footage of her falling– Jamil stated that she lost a tooth, smashed her nose, broke her elbow and several ribs, and got a concussion when she slipped and fell on her face while running around the set with Olly Murs at a recorded event leading up to the pair acting as presenters at the Orange Rockcorps volunteers' London concert of September 2010. Footage shot shortly after this incident shows Jamil completing various challenges for the event, including pushing a wheelbarrow full of woodchips and helping to build a coat rack. Jamil stated she glued her broken tooth together with eyelash adhesive after the incident, which has apparently held on as of 2020.
bro shorty is cap olympics heavyweight champion, james must develop a concept album about her life.

Girl pushed a wheelbarrow with a broken elbow and broken ribs That lie she told about being swarmed by bees while doing an interview was funny af too, she chooses to lie about things that can easily be exposed as cap
nailed as usual
“best since his debut”

On the one hand, I absolutely miss the heavy electronic James. S/T, Overgrown, and The Colour In Anything (not to mention CMYK and 200 Press) are massive influences on my music taste and all-time favorite records. I would go as far as to call TCIA one of the most underrated electronic albums of the past decade given how many people brushed it off for some reason.
On the other, I see this album and Assume Form as a completely different era of his life and sound. From what it seems in his lyrics and interviews, it's genuine to the place he is in life rn which is a much happier spot than when he was still inspired by cold, minimalist electronic. And I'm happy for him for that. On their own, both are damn good albums. I'd still rank Assume Form a bit higher than FTBYH as of now (there's no Where's The Catch or I'll Come Too on here by any means) but I've steadily found myself coming back to it and finding it growing on me more each time.
I will say that this cover is so much harder than the version on streaming
So glad that I've got the vinyl copy to look at lol
