saw this yesterday and thought it was pretty good but I’ve never seen any of the other Daniel Craig bonds, is it worth going back and watching them? are they worse or better than this?

Casino Royale and Skyfall are definitely essential if you liked this one. This kinda feels like a mix of those two. And those two do their respective things better than this does those things

This might be my favourite Craig movie

From what I’ve read the vast majority of ppl who have seen this have said it falls in the middle between Skyfall/Casino Royale which are the top-tier Craig films & Spectre/Quantum which are the weaker ones.

hated how all the themes or parallels have to be narrated through the movie by the characters. Its so dumb. But then again, its a blockbuster bond movie.

This getting panned by certain german critics but their arguments are pretty nonsensical and laughably bad at times

I get not liking NTTD or Spectre, but tearing this apart for things even Skyfall did wrong WHILE praising that movie makes me question whether these people even watched all craig movies

This film is excellent and anyone that says otherwise should be ignored. Great way for him to end it too.

Ending was sad, but it sort of fit his character through the movies so it worked

The only slight complaint I could have is Rami Malek should have had more scenes. He just felt a bit underused

and Tom Ellis will and should be the next bond.

Right age and he just fits the look of the bond characters pre Craig

Also not high profile enough that people won't look at him and immediately think of past characters they've played
