As expected this was f***ing mid at best. There wasnt a single scene that will stay in my mind. Everything felt generic. I didnt expect any great story or writing since thats usually not the case with these movies. But at least give me some great directed, memorable action scenes or set pieces like Mission Impossible does. But no. Not even the oneshot was anything special. It wasnt terrible, but nothing that I will ever wanna see again.
5/10
Biggest joke were the IMAX scenes. Can't believe this pushed DUNE out of IMAX.
Finally watched Spectre and I’m curious to why it’s so hated. Didn’t think it was that bad
Some criticisms I have are weak villains, underusing Waltz, rushed love interest, and generic story but I liked a lot of the set pieces and the train fight with Bautista was dope

I’ve been asking this for two weeks and no one acknowledges lol

It kept my attention the whole time
If someone hates on this I don’t think they’d be able to sit through some of the older Bond films lol

I kind of think that because it followed Skyfall which was near flawless, Spectre gets looked down on extra

Best DB5 chase in the series
Staircase scene
Garden of Death (wanted by the fans from the books for decades)
The horror elements of the beginning
Ana De Armas
The end

I concede to it being the last Jedi of the series (very polarizing) but to call it Generic is just plain wrong.
Now that’s how you end a run.
Hot take: 007 did what TDKR should’ve done with Batman’s fate.
Loved the film, long as hell though. Ana de armas scene >>>
New 007 Lashana Lynchwas cool af and loved her and Craigs banter

LOL huh? Troll alert
Would be interesting tbh. He would work great with a Pattinson or Cavill. The cinematographer would be crazy

I don’t think Pattinson or Cavill will play Bond. Too known and both already playing or played iconic characters

Yeah Spectre is a fine film, I prefer it to Casino Royale for Craig.
Especially that amazing opening tracking shot that follows Craig for the ground parade to the rooftops
Opening song is huge mid though.

Interesting never met someone who prefers Spectre over Casino . Kudos to you though because I remember loving it after seeing it five times in the theatre. It has got worse for me over the years though and Quantum gets better every watch while Skyfall kind of stays stagnant. (I’ve watched each of these films over 10 times)

I think Spectre and Casino Royale are both fine films and are close to me, but Mendes direction wins me over slightly.
Have you seen No Time to Die Yet? I'm going to be seeing it tonight and really excited.

Better than Casino!
But yeah that tracking shot was great and had great locations throughout

Yes I have it’s a fine film that ends Craig’s tenure nicely and echoes (rhymes with) a past movie. I have called it the last Jedi of the franchise though because it can be very polarizing so be prepared for a different tone
In fact if this franchise had as many man child’s as Star Wars I suspect that the audience score would be much lower similar to last jedi
Every single frame of Ana De Armas was pitch perfect. Been a week and I’m still not over it
Nervously drinking the cocktails and s*** and seeming so excited
