Just got out the theatre, wish I would’ve seen this in imax.
It was good, has flaws. Definitely a poetic ending for Craig era Bond and I actually liked Malek in this role. There are some things I didn’t like about the film but imma sit with it for a bit first
Saw this last night in Dolby Cinema, really loved it, think it is my second favorite of the Craig era.
Malek was trash, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Only a few shots that actually utilized IMAX, you didn’t miss too much

That’s good to know
i need Nomi,Paloma buddy cop spinoff
This was fun, tho they really messed up the writing for the main villain- he just came across so melodramatic / pseudoquirky and Malek’s acting couldn’t quite save things. Better execution there would’ve really leveled up the film. But, still a good time. I especially liked the tight camera angles and lighting for many scenes
I think the same tbh. I liked almost everything about this film aside from the villain
live and let die started off cool but quickly became booty

Alright my criticisms of the movie:
first of all, just to get it out of the way, that whole doctor comic relief character. Him narrating everything happening took me out of the scene.
then there was just very predictable twists. Felix partner with Spectre, James Bond has a kid (as soon as she grabbed her stomach on the train Bond left her in the beginning I knew), and the Bond goes rogue from MI6 but teams back up with them that happens at least once every Craig film
And of course as many mentioned, the villain was not fleshed out at all. He got what he wanted when Waltz character died, why is he still coming for them? Then he just lets the kid go after all that. Although I did like Ramis acting.
Still enjoyed the film, great Craig era conclusion. Action was great
Bond getting infected and not being able to touch his loved ones is such a perfect tragic ending for the James Bond character they could’ve kept him alive and it’d still be just as sad maybe even more so cause he’d just have to continue working with MI6 not being able to see his family
Ana De Armas is very hot don’t get me wrong but she is in like a very typical modern model way. On the other hand Seydoux is simultaneously as beautiful as a classic Golden Age Hollywood star and as sexy as like Buffalo 66’ era Christina Ricci. Not being h****, this is just a component of Bond films worth discussing lmao.
All that out of the way I absolutely loved this, one of my top 5 favorites in the series for sure. Didn’t really have any issues with Malek like everyone else, I thought he was the perfectly hammy and melodramatic Bond villain to end Craig’s run on. For more serious full thoughts on it, here’s my review.
The social commentary in this film was very pronounced.
I liked it. Beautifully shot; great film to see in theaters.

Might be my favorite of the Craig Bond movies.
I think Casino is the still the crowning jewel of his tenure as the character but it’s definitely my second favorite.
