Endgame in trouble
Cameron when Endgame passed Avatar
howcome
Just the hubris of Cameron churning out 3 more of them when the first was so culturally insignificant.

If there’s one thing Avatar was not, it definitely was not culturally insignificant?
It literally revitalized 3D in movies, whatever your opinion on that medium may be, Cameron executed it to the highest degree with Avatar. It still stands as the greatest 3D experience probably ever released.

Endgame in trouble
disney stealing disneys record
so the fact that 3D movies literally doubled in production for the next 3/4 years doesn't have any merit under your terms of "cultural significance"?

i wouldn’t call avatar insignificant, he had the top grossing movie for nearly a decade, just a shame the actual plot of the movie is forgettable
Godsake Jim! Nobody cares about this blue alien s***. Will you pls just fix the terminator!!!
Cameron also disclosed that filming was nearly complete for Avatar 3, the second of four planned Avatar sequels.
Talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger in a video call ahead of the 2020 Austrian World Summit environmental conference, Cameron stated that filming on Avatar 2 was “100 per cent complete”.
I hated being OP of the avatar thread on ktt1 because it reminded me that at one point I was excited for the sequels

Yeah its kinda like 1 or 2 sequels would've been fine but up to 4 people are gonna get tired if it's just humans vs aliens again and they don't majorly mix things up.
Nobody needs an Avatar sequel
Watch how big it will be at the box office and how many Oscars it will win lol
Film will more than likely will take visual effects to another level like the last one did

I dont really care its still bottom tier Cameron
Rather have a good Avatar TLA live action film
Yea the first one story wise was forgettable and the movie hasn’t aged the best but it wouldn’t be surprised if the sequels are a lot better
The first movie was just a bunch of colonizers colonizing. That would flop in 2020. The new movies need to not have any of that.
Nobody needs an Avatar sequel
I'VE BEEN NEEDING IT FOR A DECADE NOW STFU
