I was gonna go with IMAX just cuz its bigger but then i heard its "meant" to be in Dolby??So when showtimes originally went up my options were standard Dolby and IMAX 3D so I did IMAX
But now I’m seeing that one of the theaters near me updated to Dolby 3D so my second viewing is going to be in Dolby

I was gonna go with IMAX just cuz its bigger but then i heard its "meant" to be in Dolby??they basically the same, dolby was just a bit brighter and had recliner seats which might be clutch with a 3 hour movie (also dolby sound is crazy)

if your Dolby theater is 1:85 aspect ratio it's basically the same as Imax size. if it says 2.39 then it's gonna have the black bars at the top and bottom instead of the full screen, so don't watch dolby at that theater.
