Can’t wait to see this man I love that almost everybody is blue. Most movies people are just regular human colors or at least most people in those movies. I’m rewatching 1 soon
Didn’t like the first one but couldn’t deny I had never seen a movie that looked like that. It was so impressive that I’ll see this one in theaters just to have that experience again even if it’s a dumb plot
Why does that first slow face reveal turn me on?
one of the many reasons these movies will be successful
avatar 2 isn’t part of a big blockbuster franchise eh?
have a free imax ticket saved that i was gonna use for dune but chose to wait this s*** instead
glad i held out
You must be one poor ass motherfucker then
This is gonna do numbers at the theaters, pandemic dying down and it's dropping in the fall. Hopefully it's as good as the 1st one. Trailer got me hyped to see it.

might catch part 2 when it drops. probably looked cool & had good sound there but I want a movie with an insane colour palette (like 2049 or spiderverse) if i’m seein it at imax.
dune was mostly murky browns and beiges

Imax is about more than the colors tho. Atmospheric movies are Kino in imax

Film industry as whole took an L gassing those Lion King / Mulan remakes

That movie is an abomination to the original masterpiece
Rewatched the first avatar and it really goes out of its way to suck right off the bat with everybody b****ing out Jake for not being a scientist. None of the actors could sell it because it wasn't a realistic scenario. He went through a ton of training to become a Marine... and then was paralyzed... and then his brother had just died. I really can't imagine people wouldn't be sympathetic to a mourning cripple who they were actually very lucky to have on deck.
