I was kinda iffy on 3d because I don’t like that it makes the screen feel less vibrant, but that clip sold me. The water looks amazing in 3d man. Also the cgi looks so much better it’s crazy

I hope they clean up the writing a bit in the next one. That was the biggest flaw of the first

The scale of that tulkun (whale) swimming in the water from the boys perspective is insanely shot. In combination w/the music and the window like 3D it’s just mad immersive. The fact we getting 3 hours worth of this level of filmmaking is such a W for cinema fans

Curious about the sequel because the parts I love about the first one are the introduction, fish out of water, learning about the world/culture etc

A movie where it’s all established + Jake has been living with the navi for 10 years doesn’t have the luxury of the fun, magical introduction

But I guess you could say the same about every movie after the first Harry Potter

And I’m sure there’s new elements of Pandora that we will be introduced to over the next 3 movies
