That’s not the same. Medicine, Health, Working out medicine and techniques have obviously advanced since then so people are naturally more gifted, physically fit and techniques for improving on that stuff exist.

Acting has been a thing forever, it’s either you’re good at it or you’re not imo. I don’t think Broadway acting has gotten any better or worst over the years just the production value went up. Same for on screen acting.

It did tho. You don’t just start off knowing what’s good and what’s bad. Standards was lower. Everything in life evolves with time. Why would acting be any different?
