Okay this is important,
I was actually going to be make a post about this but i DONT WANT IT GETTING THE SPOTLIGHT
....... I'll tell you why later in my message

Long story short, Drake will NOT DROP ANYTHING until Kanye and Kim finalize their divorce (well that will take months, but until there's HARD proof that it's going down)

it relates back to their beef and everything on Scorpion and most importantly Laugh Now Cry Later

• I know that they at the crib goin' crazy, down bad, What they had didn't last, damn, baby

Basically, he would WANT TO live up to these lines, for like a 'told you so' knock out punch.....

If I had made a post on the front page about this, there's the likelihood that complex, world star, other blogs/forums, reddit, usual suspect may also jump on this theory, and may blow this theme up.....

THE REASON you don't want to blow it up is bcuz, simple, Drake usually says/does things ppl dont expect, if this idea goes viral, the likelihood at him living up to this hype would be very low.... it would be washed......

Anyways here's my value adds for the day, every artist needs some sort of shock value to impact there new project to boost sales, this may very well be the one....

It's hard to describe, but even Drake's surprise drops have been hinted at before hand.

Just doesn't feel like an album is weeks away.

There would be far more industry chatter about it. The industry is never this tight lipped about anything Drake related and with almost every drake album there's leaks. (Not song leaks, but info leaks, date leaks, etc.)

Maybe when we get closer to the January date that'll start to happen, and it's early, but it's quiet af right now. If the January date was real, I believe there would be at least one more album cut put out. We've got one song from CLB with the date supposedly weeks away. Not passing the smell test for me.

I have no way of knowing this, i'm just speculating

But my own belief was that if we hit the new year w/o a new record then the album wasn't coming in January.

I may be forgetting, but I don't think he's ever but out an album with only one song leak.
