What's wrong with being a man and not what's considered "masculine"? Or whatever example you want to use, these labels and attempts at categorizing it all do not help, just be you, you don't need labels
if you really wanted to fix these issues you would go at the concepts of masculinity and femininity
It is attacking the concepts of masculinity and femininity though. Since the late 60s, and increasingly each following decade, the ideas of men and women being defined by their behaviors and disposition have been challenged. And in recent decades, that build up of binary criticism has culminated in people rejecting the binary model.
Saying "what's wrong with being a man or masculine" reinforces that model — it implies that masculinity (and femininity) is a shallow pool bordered off with a rope, and behaviors on the other side of that rope are feminine. But it's much more like one large pool without any strict definitions in what either one behaves like.
So "whats wrong with being masculine" is that masculinity/femininity are too vague and outdated of concepts for someone to identify with reasonably. They're just carry-overs from the religiously wild middle ages when men and women behaved certain ways because they believed God would punish them otherwise — and up through the 1800s, during which that religious hysteria transformed into men and women having specific professional and social roles.
