Run some of those records and see what you think first but crates for that price would be hard to resist

I have no idea of what I got here
Damn you got a haul, let me know a list of the names of you can. I assume half of these are 60s-70s psych and folk rock.

Reverse image search I guess lmfao. Iām not at home so I canāt check my Japanese soulseek collection, but I recognize like two albums off the dome. Hereās one on Spotify I know of open.spotify.com/album/3z6QdFABuvxLLcijOYtdEK
Judging based off the cover you mostly got psych rock, ānew musicā, kayo, folk rock and maybe a little enka here and there. Barely any city pop or idol music though which is rare in a haul like this, considering thatās whatās most popular today .
I assume the guy who sold it to you is Japanese or lived in Japan?

nah I don't believe so, the box says www.mion-records.berlin
so I assume the guy brought them from Germany and sold them here
Very interesting Kyohei Tsutsumi interview. A must read if you're interested about the thought process of composing music for idols and singers in the 70s and 80s. It also has his perspective about the changing pop music landscape during that time of "composers composing for idols/singers" type music to singer-songwriter music. The man was also real af for liking shibuya-kei.

Anybody here remembers a YouTube channel that got terminated 2-3 years ago called "distortional addict"? They used to post rock, shibuya-kei, underground albums and similar stuff from the 90s to the 2010s.
Any other YouTube channels that posts similar music to that? Closest I found is Crate but they don't post often.
