There is some animataronics/robotics s*** in Japan but idk not that hot imo

They have a lot of cool stuff over there that we just don't have, not that we aren't capable of having it, but they are just popular over there

Japan has way better tech than us for sure. Their engineering is top notch too, those Toyotas and Hondas
