I liked it actually, I dont see an issue with using a computer generated voice there, just how I dont have an issue with things like autotune and other voice effects.

Or creating beats from beat kits that use computer generated sounds rather than real instruments.

Its art and it will change with the times and available technology

Autotune & other effects, even assistive AI effects can't be compared to generative AI
Although yes I will give you that they can all be considered tools.

Whenever I end up on YouTube shorts by accident or I'm a YouTube video & the video is one made with an AI narrator I lose all interest, it reeks of laziness. We've all that vaguely not quite Morgan Freeman AI voice over on countless videos, it's just weird to me.

Not trying to do a Generative AI debate rn so here i'm speaking without bringing my ethical concerns etc into the matter. I just think it would've been sounded better if he got a real person to do it - AI voices at present lack emotion and nuance. The voice sounds so rigid & soulless even if it is 'Nancy - stern elderly white women voice, Inspired by Helen Mirren & Joan Rivers' or w/e.

Eh I feel in the case of how Jay use it, it's fine and works well with the content of his work. Dont consider it all that different than artists using text to speech to get an artificial effect for a soundbite

For me it’s not that it’s AI, de facto, that makes it bad. It’s that the tone of the old white AI lady is cringe lolll for me personally.

Same with the AI British guy at the end of 4 billion who says “it’s up, we outchea.”

It just sounds silly but without charm so the humor is lost.

It's such a random and abrupt bit of information after an otherwise completely normal verse. Makes me chuckle every time.
