This conversation ain’t even worth having on a public scale tbh.

Black people need a social media app of their own to work through their understanding of things like this without being labeled throughout the process.

Not saying I co-sign or even really fully understand this debate but I don’t like how they labeling these dudes bigots for simply discussing historical a***ysis. Jay or Nick didn’t call for the extermination or harm to any Jews.

jewish dna studies are very complicated.
it is true that not all ashkenazi jews have semitic dna. however, this isn't true universally - many (i'd even say most) ashkenazi jews can be traced as having semitic middle-eastern dna. there are a ton of studies on this, it's not super controversial. there are SOME ashkenazi jews which are not semitic though; this is likely because of conversions in eastern europe. how are there Levite Ashkenazis if they aren't semitic?
the original jews were not white or black, they were likely a mixture of both which developed individually depending what region they migrated to. if they were only one race that wouldn't make any sense given historical recollection. Why did outsiders describe the hebrews as the same race as the greeks and Carthaginians? why are the first ancient jews (in their oral tradition) described historically as being from modern day iraq? why were the original Israelites, the Canaanites, traced as being from modern day lebanon? Black people joined the semitic bloodline because the wives of various hebrew & canaanite figures were modern day ethiopian . this split the jewish bloodline; jewish people weren't caucasion, of course,and the black jews are no less legitimate than other jewish people, but the original blood line isn't just like singularly black or white. trying to classify it either way just is a nonsequitor.

Yes that’s why I said middle eastern and North African, which falls into exactly the locations I said were the original Semitic people. As a person from that region (Palestine) I am a mix of heavy middle eastern dna and some African. If I were to dna test with a Sephardic Jew, there would be a lot more in common than a ashkenazic Jew. Genetically, I am more tied to the historical region than a ashkenazic Jew. This is where Zionism comes into play and what most people with common sense should have a problem with. You are using an ancient book that says you are the chosen people to kick us out of our homeland even though we are genetically more tied to the people you worship?

The point I am making is the modern Middle Eastern and North African people are actually Semitic people. And they also have a more direct genetic connection to original Jewish followers than ashkenazic.

Now to me, that doesn’t make them less Jewish or more. I think faith shouldn’t have a color attached to it and should be accessible to whoever it touches. I just don’t agree with Zionism on any level which is disingenuous with these identity politics and uses it to persecute and steal from other Semitic people.

i agree zionism has a lot of problems separately but just because of zionist agendas and issues, it doesnt mean every ashkenazi isnt really jewish. they be further descended genetically but they arent just not jews (most of them). it was just the framing of the original post made seemed to imply other stuff

I didn’t say they aren’t really Jewish. I think we more or less agree. I said they don’t have as much of a genetical tie to the region as the people who Zionists steal land. That’s why I’m making a clear distinction between Zionist and Ashkenazic Jews.

Ashkenazic Jews aren’t the original Jews. They do not have the same DNA make up with Semitic people in the Middle East and North Africa. The max I believe is 3% but I’d have to find the study.

The fact is Semitic people include many Arabs and Africans by its very definition. It’s actually racist to exclude us out of it and only apply it for ashkenazic Jews.

I won’t go as far as calling ashkenazic Jews the synagogue of satan. I think zionists however are.
