because some jay elec fans wanna act like proudly parading yourself as a member of a notoriously anti-semitic sect & putting its chairman's name on your face and saying known anti-semetic phrases like "synagogues of satan" (yes, it was taken out of context from its original usage in the book of revelation, but i'm 1000000% sure Jay Elec aint referring to that version either)

what I'm saying is, he has outwardly rapped about his allegiance and membership of the NOI for just about as long as he's been "popular" so to think this wasn't in the tuck would be lying to yourself.

yeah i understand that but beforehand he was relatively ok. like you wouldnt hear that many weird stuff in there. it was 2017 onwards when he started going a bit weird. a lot of artists are like this it's just whether they progress worse or better. most of the time its worse like kanye or whoever who werent necessarily like this.

I dont think his beliefs fully align with mainstream NOI, despite obviously being a big supporter of its key members such as Farrakhan. My understanding is that Jay reveres Jesus much more than NOI typically does, as well as other things he says that I would think most NOI members would reject. Although I defo could be wrong about that

Pretty ToneyJay has always sucked as a person, pretty much. Great lyricist a lot of the time... and I really liked him when I was younger. By the time Act 2 dropped, I realized he was a loser (even tho the album was fire). Ye praising him a lot shed light on the direction he was headed as well tbh. It is what it is. Both racist cornballs. Plenty of other great musicians out there.
