Forbes was playing sides and snubbed the Ye announcement, claiming Ye’s claims were off (cause Ye was saying he was worth 3 B’s when Forbes was saying he’s not worth that much).

In reality, Forbes should have just agreed Ye was a billionaire in early 2019 well before the Jay numbers were official.

Of course, Jay will use any moment like this to toot his own horn and the general public will ignore the facts and just go with the cool rap line that rewrites history.

Plus, Ye and Rih are both richer than Jay and became billionaires 10 and 20 years earlier in their lives than he did

YZY was valued at 1.5 billion in the summer of 2018(!) and Ye had and continues to have sole ownership of the company. Forbes was, at a minimum, two years slow on making the announcement. Not only should they be ashamed of themselves but Jay should know better than to spread this false information.
