MangoThis director was in the music department for Great Gatsby which was Jay-Z heavy. He also directed an all black western in 2013 starring Rosario Dawson, Omar, etc.

Not really when it came out the cast wasn't announced really and Jay Z was the selling the point along with Idris.
I'll change it in a bit but I remember everyone s***tin g on this when it was just "Jay Z western at Netflix"

they're close, look at the video above. Jay Elec is on three tracks of the They Die By Dawn soundtrack. Not confirmed for the new soundtrack, but with Hova and Bullitts supervising music I kinda expect him here too
