Almost like thats how all musician interviews work
It's a little more blatant with this guy
And this why y'all stay broke lol Meek been telling the yall to get some billionaire friends but y'all don't listen. Knowing the right people is most definitely important and opens much more doors than money could ever
i have several high net worth friends and honestly we almost never talk about actually making money unless you count nfl parlays as investment advice
It's a little more blatant with this guy
It’s blatant with everyone lol no one does interviews just cuz they want to.
Now if it was 50k or a dinner with Drake im taking Drake. That mf pays for everyones s***
i know people that have had dinner with drake, he’s a nice guy
Dinner with Nas >>> 10k in all honesty, I'd imagine me and him would click right off that bat, shooting our s***. If there's a post-dinner fun activity, It'd even be more worth as the opportunity to network would be beneficial.
Hov interview only means he's trying to sell us something really soon
This ain’t the only interview he’s done recently for what it’s worth lol. Probably knows he’s been trending recently
LMFAO the guy that said i'll take the dinner with hov got called a dumbass by hov
It’s blatant with everyone lol no one does interviews just cuz they want to.
That's just not true
How that work out for Meek? Now he just back to working for Ross again lmfao
He's not working for Ross, it's a JV with gamma for MMg x DC
He's not working for Ross, it's a JV with gamma for MMg x DC
So he letting his money be split amongst two larger entities before getting to him, got it
the question that started the debate is "would you rather talk to rich people or have $500k"
no billionaire is just like "hey dude i like your drive here's a million dollars". networking is only meaningful if you have an ends to which the capacity of doing such is trying to achieve. like are you trying to get signed to a label? sure then, i guess it can be helpful to go down the chain of referrals. but even the super rich don't just throw around money - if you're looking for "investment" even currying favor with the rich is largely a push and pull game that isn't much difference from having an established reputation and pitching to institutional investors. ultimately you still need notoriety in some form, no rich dude is just going to be like "hey man you're cool here's a million" - they get people asking them this like virtually every day. the real basis this is beneficial is if you're already in business and need additional business partners for growth - but that's the point, you aren't going to just randomly talk to someone like that if you're broke to begin with. startup investment will always be more worthwhile than having someone you can email once a month
i think you can make a case that becoming a socialite can get you straight financially only if you’re in an elite college on a scholarship and are socially charismatic and already have an idea of what you want to get to

it can help you get a job for sure but whether or not that's a better value than a straight $500k is a different debate
My dinner with Jay Z wasn't really a dinner, more of a confirmation. It confirmed that I'm built different. The knowledge alone was priceless. HOV sneezed in my soup but besides that, it was one of the greatest nights of my life.
Knowledge > Money

i agree, 500k would be better but i’m just thinkin general hypotheticals that don’t have to do with jay-z
So he letting his money be split amongst two larger entities before getting to him, got it
No it's an even split. He is not under MMG they are both distributing their joint project
