What I dislike about Jay-Z wealth talk is the “when you see me, see you”.

It was like he was trying to give the impression that that him the viewer of him were the same, but in the end he is just another rich man saying “if I can do it you can do it, and there for I will not help you”.
I feel like he kinda leveraged his skin color to make it seem like he was different, he ain’t no PAC

I'm saying they're the ones that can fix the problems but they wont.

The hate and negative energy should go more towards politicians and lawmakers.

Scapegoating billionaires for everything and ignoring the benefits of capitalism isnt going to do anything for you.

Be real for a sec, has anyone ever given a mfer $4800 that said he could turn it into $2 million?

If you a millionaire/billionaire who makes double $4800 before the end of the day are you really going to notice, or even care, about whether some bozo hits on that loaned $4800 or not?

  • I mean ultimately it's your choice whether to loan somebody money or not. But don't be one of those people telling others to get it themselves when you are aware of how difficult that is for your people.

If you are the exception to the norm, be exceptional and create a new norm.

In all fairness, I think people are misunderstanding what he’s saying. He wasn’t saying he wasn’t gonna give the money because it was too much. He was saying he wasn’t gonna give the money because the play didn’t make sense. You can’t make millions off of $4800.

No it sounds like we're arguing about 2 different things.

    Heres what im saying

    Capitalism is essential for America.

All the points and issues you and everyone else raised about ppl struggling is valid and serious but just because someone is a billionaire doesn't mean they exploited someone. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesnt.

It's usually not exploitation. I provide you this service and you give me money. Solve a problem and you can be profitable.

More problems you solve or more people use your service, wealthier you become.

If any billionaire missuses information, gets too big, or hurts consumers, govt steps in and pass laws to control it.

    Simple.

you might be the most naive person oat saying this, there is no ethical way of being a billionaire my man, even if it not direct exploitation it happens indirectly on a daily basis. Like i seriously want you to imagine any wealthy billionaires or corporate CEO actually being transparent with the things they must do to operate and get into the rooms they are invited into lol

I can agree with that. But a nice lil drop of $4800 for the regular mf makes a huge difference. Give em some guidance with the money too. Jay Z should know better than anybody, gotta start somewhere. That $4800 can turn into $10000 which can turn into $48000. All how you make the money play

Some billionaires and their companies do engage in wage theft but not all.

For example, Google does not exploit their workers. They are highly paid for the services they provide. Another example is Netflix. Not all billion dollar companies exploit their workers, which is what most ppl don't want to accept.

Evading taxes is illegal. What they do is pay as less taxes as possible legally. Who made these tax laws? Politicians.

In America, you get various tax benefits when you have a business. A billion dollar company can get ALOT of tax breaks. They usually use the money they save on taxes to grow further by investing in themselves (hiring more workers, building more plants). This process is what allows most companies to become billion dollar companies

Why is it like that? Because US producing billionaires means the billionaires are employing people and things are being produced. Politicians like this because it means the US economy is stronger and more people pay taxes.

Political lobbying is a problem and should be abolished imo. This is when corruption happens and this is where exploitation can happen more frequently.

You cannot name one of the biggest silicon valley companies and only look at their exploitation from face value… you have long ways to go lol

and you going home for solace, you go there for peace of mind

That is so fair, Jay Z I’m sure has so many friends & associates & co workers or w/e asking him for money day in & day out, he should be able to go home without his fam asking for money, that’s totally understandable imo

Understandable but not realistic not by a long shot for any celebrity that came from nothing who’s family is still stuck with nothing.
Unless he’s just passively taking care of his families essentials they’re always going to have a hand out.

yea and who created and allowed these lobbying laws?

    Politicians and lawmakers.

Everything goes back to the politicians. The "eat the rich" movement should be "eat the politicians".

They're the ones that can actually create and pass laws in this country.

Also I've said this above but imma say it again. I'm very against political lobbying.
