Mark Moschinoi just...cant do the wii. I don't like it. I get why people like it. it's just not for me
I was only allowed like 1 console every 5 years or smth and when the Wii was out, it was either that or the DS and I chose DS so I missed out on that whole era

Been trying to get back into but between fludd, no long jump and the setting, it doesn't even feel like a Mario game. Galaxies, Odyssey and 64 clear.

i like flud a lot the verticality he gives to the platforming felt like sequencing was easier to break and I could express myself more through the mechanics

I beat Odyssey's main story and enjoyed it but it was so easy and I never took the time to get the more difficult moons.
I maintain that Odyssey is one of the best children's games of all time. I just kinda cruise controlled it tbh and that's more on me

its a game thats great for its seamless challenges
but also kinda annoying cause those challenges are so seamless you miss them
