I think the big difference between them is that the Nas casino proposal thing is gonna be in Queens. And frankly...nobody really cares about what goes on in Queens cause it be so far out from s*** lol

Also I believe that casino is an expansion of the Resorts World that has already been there for some years. So the addition of the casino is kinda like a no brainer. There's already a horse racing track there, not too far from JFK, a casino expansion (even though I hate them) kinda makes sense.

Jay Z tryna build a casino in the middle of Times Square is just f***in insane lmao it's already crowded as hell in Midtown as is with so many other things to do along with new studios being built there. Midtown is already a nightmare as is in the summer months and during the holidays. A casino in Times Square is doing way too f***in much.

That’s a reasonable argument I see what you sayin and yeah I agree putting one in Times Square is doing too much. But alot of the comments I saw made it a morale and principle issue wit Jay (which I get that’s the stain on him already by some own actions)

but it’s way less of that on Nas being which is ironic because at one point something like being invested in the gambling industry wouldn’t be apart of Nas’s brand or atleast how niggas viewed Nas

Jay didn’t sell out Cam, they weren’t that cool anyways when the Roc split Cam went wit Dame and the way Dame has been moving since splitting from Dame might’ve been the best decision. And I dont agree with he sold out Kaep.. he had good intentions but there was no real “movement” that got off the ground and it became a spectacle by the time Jay took that job. But yes Jay was a crack dealer. Ya morals change the moment you start hustling. And s*** don’t change you just apply it to a new game.

But it’s funny tho niggas acting like the Casino is literally “ROC Nation Casino”. I have a friend from Jersey who said for years he hated Jay Z for moving the Nets to Brooklyn.. when in reality Jay had a small ass percentage of ownership in the team and was basically a figure head for the move. I bet this is a similar situation and they were using his celebrity profile to seal the deal.. the judge didn’t give a f*** tho clearly lol

nets move from was jersey was because it was a waning franchise with jewish ownership (no anti-semitism) having the opportunity to move them to a jewish neighborhood. jay owned 0.06% and was just an ambassador, he tried to sell his share to my friend’s grandfather shortly after the move hah. miss those cheap prudential tickets
