Hov’s rightfully one of the most criticized artists on this board though regardless of the beef. The people defending him aren’t waiving anything he did off just because he gave Kendrick the halftime show, but they will waive it off for everything else he did in his career.

Blaming Jay Z for capitalism is not going to change s***. If anything the disproportionate hate that he gets compared to the people who are the actual problem can just seem like a distraction and a convenient scapegoat.
What should we change? What is the answer? And as self serving as Jay can seem, are you sure that him gaining the power and influence that he has can’t be a positive in some ways? Like what could Jay Z do if he just threw his hands up and said “capitalism bad so I’m never selling d**** or records or clothes”, is that the reality you would prefer? Jay Z just a nobody?
