twntytwntysCole revealed his soul basically and it was beautiful to see but the since people love competition and hatred he’ll be seen as weak. This made me want to listen to Cole’s next work more than the diss track
It is weak.
J Cole went into the booth after two weeks of the Kendrick verse and wrote lyrics to push back on him.
Two days later he comes out saying he doesn’t feel that way and he’s sorry.
That is up there with one of the worst things a rapper has done.
F*** being the bigger person because he ruined that doing a response in the first place.
If someone diss you, you have two choices. Respond or don’t. You can’t do both.

Nah, a lot of you looking for hate and violence are children tbh, it’s admirable he did that. It’s just knowing the culture, Cole pretty much erased himself from the competition

Graffiti artist used to battle , producers used to battle , dancers battle all of that is hip hop. I don’t like the fact that someone whose been daring people to test him just backs out the way he did . You can’t claim you’re the best and apologize when you didn’t say anything personal at all .
