That Amazon be going through employees like a motherfucker because of unsafe and cruel work environment despite supposed "innovation" and "efficiency"?

You tryna big up Amazon when someone who has literally worked there can tell you it's a crock of bullshit and they're a terrible employer.

A "turnover rate of 150%" ? Come on bro

    That literally makes no sense

I agree that Amazon borders the line on what I would personally also consider ethical but that's why we are seeing a change in public markets from "shareholder profit maximization" to ESG.

Not to mention, unfortunately Amazon is one of the leaders in at least tackling these socioeconomic issues the US will soon face

If you have a problem with Bezos and Amazon, I hope you have double the issue with the Walton family and Wal-Mart. Or any of the other worse and destructive companies the USA has spawned the last 100 years

Things PROGRESS for the BETTER. It is a slow road though due to corruption of the state. REGULATORY CAPTURE

This a really long way of saying "I'm a Jeff Bezos/Amazon shill".

Imagine the millions of hours that Amazon has saved people from having to go to the store

That alone has pushed humanity forward

Amazon has been a net positive on the world in a significant way

Sure like Uber, they have had issues along the way because of rapid innovation, but to dismiss this as anything but amazing is disingenuous

I'm a technology shill. I don't like how they treat their employees as inputs to an algorithm

    Personally, I shop at Costco!

the corporate media you consume really did a good job painting bezos as this evil lex luthor type now these last few years now that Amazon won the internet retailer battle

same way they did a really good job convincing you that bill gates is the kind billionaire after years of anti-trust behavior while he was in charge of MSFT

BEZOS is the quintessential american dream

it's obvious he was operating at an extremely high level rarely achieved by a CEO operator type for nearly 25 years

yeah isn't it interesting you don't hear much about Kozmo.com, or Pets.com?

    Weird huh

Must be all luck like synop said earlier in this thread

Definitely nothing to do with laser-like focus on customer happiness and near flawless execution of a vision
