Wasn’t being %100 serious with that, I was just trying to highlight the insanity of comparing such a high occurrence of debilitating side effects that require medical attention with f***ing Advil side effects lol

The problem is 'unable to perform normal activities/unable to work' is obviously the countless mild symptoms inherent in Covid and other vaccines, 1 in 10 get side effects from the flu shot iirc. No one in their right mind would go to work if they have a fever or muscle pains

He’s not even saying he’s anti-vax just doesn’t want to take it now while he’s still taking shots from the hospital after recovering

I’d agree with you if not for the “required medical attention” at the end of the footnote (speaks to the severity of the symptoms) and the fact that mRNA vaccines are known to trigger severe inflammatory reactions at a significantly higher rate than regular vaccines. These reactions are to the introduction of foreign RNA into the body, not the virus, and because this is the first mrna vaccine we don’t really have a way of knowing the complications that might result from them
I’m not making any of this up; there’s a reason why the nhs is recommending that people prone to strong allergic reactions don’t get the vaccine lol

Does it really spek to the severity though? If I have a fever, nausea, joint pain I'm definitely going to my pharmacist for some medication so that would appear to classify the definition so I wouldn't say that that speaks to the severity at all. I don't think you shouldn't go as far as to take that CDC powerpoint as the holy grail of the vaccine having severe life threatening side effects especially when we have data from the trials that said less than 0.5% had a severe side effects

I'm with you in terms of the mRNA being the first to be given for widespread use, but it was being tested prior to this e.g. on humans during Zika Virus and Moderna tested it for use with flu too last year. Sure the NHS gave that recommendation but allergic reactions can occur from any vaccine and this advice is generally always given although allergic reactions are rare and the vast majority of side effects will always being the mild ones we are seeing in phizer/covid vaccines

Not really, it’s caused a lot, not most. Change your lifestyle all you want, there’s just some things you can’t prevent like hereditary disorders, certain infections, cancers, etc. but I do agree lifestyle modification and diet would alleviate much needed tension from medicine. But the average American doesn’t have discipline

U have to go out ur way to not have seed oils and other s*** in food, get told fat is bad, get told the sun is bad, get told meat is bad etc etc you cant just exist and live a normal life and be reasonably healthy like in the past

    get the vaccine

as a HCW i got it, only soreness in arm. do ppl think they're trying to f*** up our doctors and nurses first? or swapping the harmful vaccines for black and brown ppl only? no.

personally, that’s not what i think at all

i’m not anti vax, all my vaccinations are up to date and i get the flu shot yearly

however, this vaccine seems rushed to me and i don’t want to worry about any unintended side effects down the line. i never leave my house anyway and work from home, so i’m hardly on the list to get it anytime soon

You’re so f***in ignorant fam. Almost every vaccine is developed in like weeks. It just takes years of testing to make sure it’s effective and safe because doctors are the biggest critics in the world. It’s pretty redundant how much they test it but they wanna be safe. These two vaccines that are approved have been tested on tens of thousands of people. Idk what else you want, a million people?
At least educate yourself before saying some dumb s*** like this

i want long term effects monitored. sure the day of, week after, month after you may not notice anything, but what about two years from now?

i’m not anti vax tho. i have all mine up to date. i’m just cautious of this particular one
