This album is absolutely brilliant in a lot of aspects. We shouldn't consider it a Kanye Album, I see this as one of his production works, like Daytona or KTSE.
The performances, instrumentals, and the feelings it transmits are astonishing, even if you're not religious like me. This album is plenty of amazingly beautiful songs that sound like some of the best Stevie Wonder or Earth Wind and Fire ballads, like Rain, Lift Up Your Voices or More Than Anything.
What an experience for this Christmas
Tbh I highly doubt he had much to do with this.
Do you guys know how many people are behind Sunday Service and the pieces that they perform? It’s a LOT more than just the people that you physically see.
I’m not hating either, I love the album. I’m just saying that there’s another thread on here that poses the question: should we consider this a Kanye solo? And tbh that’s the stupidest most ignorant s*** I’ve seen in years.
Not only is this NOT a Kanye solo, but I would go as far as to say that it shouldn’t even be considered one of his production works.

He didnt produce this tho
False he basically treated the choir like samples (aka the samples)
Jason talks about this in his interview
It's not my cup of tea, but it floors me how SS managed to put together a more concise body of work than Kanye.
Kanye didn’t do s***
Honestly I’ve been trying to tell ppl this has nothing to do with ye

He brought together the Sunday Service Collective, and a lot of the covers have been written by him
