Never understood the hate for this album. All of these songs are great.
I’m not getting into his personal affairs. Strictly talking about the music.
I know people heard a lot of these songs during the YAHNDI era, but that doesn’t take away from this. If you went into this album fresh from the leaks, this is a great piece of work. I think it even won a Grammy for gospel album of the year.
I definitely recommend giving this album a spin if you have any type of spiritual connection. Or if you just like positive music, this definitely serves it purpose.

Not religious at all but I genuinely enjoyed this album and this era
closed on sunday and follow god are horrible horrible songs
Wow. Those are like my 2 favorite songs on the album lol

I’ve been revisiting now that it’s fall. Aged beautifully
There was this one part in god is that he sang so raw and beautifully and then they edited it months later to “correct” that part and I really haven’t forgiven that
It could’ve been great , but it’s half baked af just like everything else he dropped post-Pablo. The listening party versions also were better imo.
Crazy that he cut LA Monster and Up From The Ashes
The lyrics are pretty terrible but the production is decent and it has a nice vibe. I really liked Selah when it came out
Lowkey my favorite Ye era
Sunday service
Wyoming
Goat interviews
