Not saying this means anything because opinions and music preference are all subjective but this is interesting - I just looked at a dozen major publications' Best of 2019 Albums lists and I did not see JIK on a single one of them. Checked Metacritic and it's got a 53. Didn't realize it got panned that heavily.

I thought it was kind of a half-assed Kanye album, felt unfinished to me, but I still enjoyed it more than anything else given the weak year so it would probably stand as my 2019 AOTY. Definitely got more plays than anything else from me.
