It’s been happening for a long time honestly. Way back in the days when the man had to work he’d be there but not “there” a lot of times. It used to be black men getting paid pennies so they were always at work and stressed and combine that with d**** or alcohol and that’s no real father in the home. Abuser to the women and children. Children afraid of their father.

Then they started locking black men up for years over petty crimes ad crimes that the government influenced. Which led to more dingle parent households.

Now you have kids growing up with one parent and thinking it’s the norm.

Now there’s just so many single black mothers. If you’re a child that grew up without a father and have a child as a teen what are you gonna do? Step up or just fade out? And the mother most of the time won’t threaten you to stay since they’ve seen so many single parents like it’s the norm. So it turns into single custody
