JIK is listenable and right now i really like it, the production is dope, but the lyrics are lazy, Ye didnt do verse in water, he did prayer, lyrics are so empty.

Meanwhile Jesus Walks slaps so much and tops every song on JIK.
If every song on JIK was like Jesus Walks lvl of lyricism, it would be like 10/10

Jesus Walks is literally a top 10 hip hop song of all time so its unreasonable to assume that just because none of the songs on JIK top it, that its trash

Well, obviously that's one of the greatest songs ever.

You could say this about any Kanye project imo - he's never made a song as good as that on any other album for me. Some come close like Roses or ULB etc.

I know most people don't feel that way but I don't think you can really hold him to the standard of Jesus Walks his whole career. JiK is still really good
