I genuinely love this album and think it has one of Kanye's best runs in his discography

Ye ksg and jik is a great trilogy

Glad he didnt release that yandhi nonsense

U guys will hate jik yet longnfor shmg despite the projects having a similar sonic quality to what i personally imagined the project to sound like and songs like only one led me to believe

However i believe a section of ye fans want kanye to be apolitical and exist in a vacuum with no message or intent jjst a cool aesthetic and the strong messaging of s*** like jik is too much for you

What makes you think its a 10? The production is great but nothing groundbreaking. Same with the lyrics.

JIK is not a 10.
It’s actually odd that anyone with any kind of integrity would say it is.

Really loved this album tho

Already liked it at first but, my extended version of it made me appreciate the album a lot more and kind of points out my criticism with the project, length

Two great albums.

Keep in mind KSG is the ideal project for younger Kanye fans on this site while JIK is hitting with a lot of people who are a little older.

A lot of the tracks (only one, wolves, i feel like that) had that haunting bare bones feel that you get on selah, closed in sunday, hands on etc

I mean I guess a case can be made for that but that's out of like 20 potential tracks that could of end up on the project
