Such a tight tracklist. Many bangers. Iconic bars. From the get go people already knew they would hate on it. Everybody wanted yandhi but it is just facts that yandhi wouldve been a lyrical mess. MAGA bars all over it.
Meanwhile you got Jesus is King being a album mainly of bangers. Structurally Very reminiscent of Graduation, Yeezus and 808s. Arguably better than the latter. It is short and sweet. Straight to the point. On of the more simplistic releases ye put out in a while. And quite frankly one of the most „Kanye“ projects in while.
People cried so long they wanted the old ye back. But when he delivers on nearly exactly that they end up crying.
Go listen to JIK now. It is a great project trust me you wont regret it. Water still the worst song but every ye project got one of those.
Besides that...
No bad track on here
if it wasn't for f***ing Pastor Adam, we might've had a consistent, actual gospel project.
instead we got phoned-in Jesus bars that he recorded like a week before release.

TPAB not even better than JIK
I can tell you was raised without a father

Ye is so unfocused, bad writing and un original at least with jik it's more like a ye album in that it's sonically and thematically different than his other albums. Ye just water down version of his old s***

kanye west is one of the most creative but easily swayed people i've ever seen

Single mothers know they got my heart
And all my brothers locked up on the yard
You can still be anything you wanna be
Went from one in four to one in three
Thirteenth amendment, gotta end it, that's on me
