Kanye really a genius getting with Kim because Kim was really the biggest billboard for him to gets fit for him and on her for women, he built and cemented his repertoire he doesn’t need her

Even the lines Kim is putting out for herself you can see direct influence from the stuff Kanyes brand was making

If we’re discussing hip hops greatest influence that Kanye and that’s not debatable. He’s the guy to introduce new looks to the game. Just recently he debuted his yeezy and now cozy athleisure is at the forefront of fashion today.

    RESIGNED

    relax

There is no one more influential than Kanye in fashion.

Virgil comes from Kanye, Jerry Lorenzo- Kanye, Yeezy- Kanye

this man singlehandedly help bring Adidas back and Nike was so shook, they copped his friend

  • Apr 28, 2021

Kanye started that style with them glasses and backpacks during his graduation days. (one could argue that was Soulja still) and It ended there... His homeless style has been around way before. Just was able to profit of associating his name/brand to it.

Why are do you think Virgil and Jerry's ideas are Ye's? He helped them get started and they bounced around ideas but not everything they do is a Ye achievement

I didn't say anything about their ideas being Kanye's. But simply put, without Kanye, neither of them are prominent in the fashion industry.

Just because it’s not popular now doesn’t negate it’s influence. It was big in the early 2000’s forsure

I don't think we're on the same page. Popularity and influence aren't the same, Rocawear was really popular but Jay and Rocawear have no influence that we can see unless I'm missing something

So without Jay then Ye wouldn't be prominent in fashion either? I don't see it that way but if that's your way of thinking I won't knock it
