Carti dress better than ROCKY ( not nast ) but without Rocky s*** would suck fashion wise. He’s low key the reason a lot of mf got into fashion in the first place

bro said kanye started no trends when mfs were trying to copy this and failed FOR 3 YEARS till he came back with the champion reverse weaves to go easy on them

Wasnt it a bunch of huge celebs doing this around this time?

He definitely made niggas stop wearing jerseys at one point and put on button ups lol and Rocawear had a strong run

I feel like everything Jay did fashion-wise early on was either Dame or Ye. Including Rocawear

Cam’ron definitely set more trends than Jim Jones tho

Everyone always thought Cam was the flyest in Dipset

nobody thought jim was fly until his rockstar era, but don't forget that if it wasn't for him and juelz the tight fits would've never crossed over to street niggas

  • Apr 28, 2021

    Damn this all facts

  • Apr 28, 2021

P s*** on all them combined except Ye

Jim Jones is like 50 years old and still dresses like he 20 hanging out on the corners in Harlem.

He gives too much credit to himself.

Who did start the skinny Jeans trend tho
I know the jerking movement popularized it in the West Coast. And I ain’t really see any rap fan wear them until Wayne started doing it around C3-Rebirth
I remember the skater/rock/emo kids wear dressing skinnies in 2007-2008

Jim Jones was the first rapper I saw stop wearing XXXL t shirts and jeans after Kanye and Pharrell and influence the rest of the rap game to follow suit.

He also was the first one wearing BB Simon, Chrome Hearts, LV scarfs. All of which are popular with rappers today.

Jim definitely had hood dudes in NY dressing differently

Then Wayne followed with similar style.
