Jim Jones is just a corny dude through and through

remember when he was on flex crying about the Dipset reunion

Then cam responded with a 2 hour long Live dissecting the entire man

He thinks he's had a bigger impact on the culture than he actually did

Jim is a trendsetter for sure but his perspective is warped on Ye, Pharrell, and Rocky to an extent. He was never in that lane.

Saying no one wanted to put on what Pharrell had and that Ye only influenced nothing is dusty.

"They weren't from the street, they're a good group of kids and they're artistic, but they're not from the street and their style is way different than what we do. It's a little bit far out there for me. We got bonafide swag and the definition of get fly, ya dig? I'm not trying to disrespect them—A$AP Mob is doing it, they got their numbers and they're doing what they like to do—but they're nothing like the Diplomats. They didn't come up hanging and banging and hustling and really touching the pavement, ya dig? It's a big difference. We don't wear kilts and we don't wear tight sweatpants and funny sneakers. That's not our style. "

Man said Jordan 1s is worn because of kanye. Kanye only influenced white people to dress a certain way holy s***

He had an effect on those 5-6 retroes he wore over and over like like 07-2011

You also always hear stories on NikeTalk about how retroes were easy to get in the early 2000’s yet by 09-2012 etc s***s war tryna get OG colorways because guys like Cudi and Ye made certain og colorways the dress code for a certain crowd

He isn’t the sole reason that Jordan’s are popping but it’s dense to act like he didn’t have any effect on sneaker culture

Just to be clear I'm not saying he didn't set any trends at all but he's given a lot of credit that was really other niggas like Virgil or Lorenzo in recent years. He ain't do much after 2013 except his Yeezy brand which mostly flopped until the Adidas shoes but he's got a whole team helping him on those

The trump hat was the last memorable thing he wore

Virgil and jerry havent done s*** except make cheap and ugly designs

To be fair, Jordans brand was continuing to expand so it makes sense why it was harder to get jordans later on. I wouldn't attribute that to Kanye really. I would just attribute that to black culture being more accepted. I'll give you the colorways though.

All that tells us is Ye stans wasn't wearing them. I swear they're out of the loop until he wears something then it's like he invented it to them

    Ok but Kanye invented shoes
