I wanted to pick out beats that really separate themselves from the artists, or in other words, beats that can stand by themselves and still be a 10/10 without needing some to rap on it. I threw away plenty of beats because I felt they were so intertwined with the artist so It’s hard to separate it as it’s own thing. Plenty of Metro beats are kinda like this for me. I love Madlib but he just missed top ten for me.
