Feel like the compositions in BvS and MoS felt more grand like another user said.
Hopefully but he's always so professional so he hasn't been truly decisive in his speaking about it yet. I think he'd want to especially if the offer is good enough
idk how Warnermedia/HBO Max look at this being their biggest Max Original by far and don't want to keep him on at least there tho. Would be strange
Spite
Darkseid imo is how Thanos should have been done. Makes no sense to humanise a giant alien like Thanos that nobody will ever relate to. Just make him a menace who's clear purpose is to destroy.
The humanising is a big part of why he works so much as a villain imo.

The suits only care about numbers and Whedon was really on a mission to sink DCEU with the last one. It feels like everything hinges on the success of the Synder cut.

Not to get too nerdy but it’s because of the heavy use of anamorphic and more telephoto (basically zoomed in) lenses in MOS and BVS while JL uses spherical and wide lenses (basically zoomed out) quite often. Telephoto (and anamorphic) lenses feel more cinematic and dramatic, like an older film

It’s why Endgame and Infinity War look more cinematic than The Avengers.
Damn I didn’t even catch the lantern in the foreground
I didnt even catch the Robin suit when darkseid was indoctrinating superman

Damn I didn't know this. You dropping gems. Tell me more

So there’s anamorphic vs spherical, then wide vs telephoto. Let’s look at the former:
Anamorphic is when the background blur is stretched, like this

Spherical is when the background blur is, well, spherical

This is a good comparison between the two (spherical left anamorphic right)
Then there’s wide vs telephoto. Simply put, wide is what your phone camera looks like all the way zoomed out, and the more you zoom in the more telephoto it looks. Wide lenses look more “down to earth” and telephoto lenses look more dramatic
Wide
Telephoto

@SUPERMAN its why I would say that JL is Snyder going back to his usual style in terms of cinematography
MOS and BVS are unique in his filmography for being so anamorphic and telephoto, going for something more serious and dramatic. He’s usually a wide and spherical guy

Damn this was pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna reread this a few times

This actually really interesting
I liked any scene where she was fighting the scene of her saving the people from bullets was amazing. But when she talked it was so bad Her whole monologue to batman about the war against darkseid was so wooden
It was an exposition scene. They are supposed to be wooden unless they're showing some imagery, which the were with the fight against Darkseid with Ares, etc
The rock music was very weird
every music choice in this movie was off to me
Everyone saying the same about Ben at the end but I actually think he looks great
If u see the justice league JOSS WHEDON version movie there’s some reshoots in that movie where Ben was super bulky and bloated. Dude looks like he’s much heather.
It might just be because he was really big in 2016 shooting this movie, and so throwing a 2020 scene at the end he looks small asf.
But I swear that’s the healthiest he’s looked in a while

song to the siren sequence >>>>>>

tbh i feel like the t-shirt he was wearing at the end wasn’t the right fit for him, so that contributes to him looking small

This is an awful take
