see this is the issue you any critique is automatically filed under hate you already had the expectation prior to going in that this was going to rock your world and you won't accept anything less.

every publication i've read has critiqued it's running time it's incredibly self indulgent.

if the cut was ten hours snyder stans would still fall over themselves trying to complement it and why snyder fanboys are treated like children.

outside of echo chambers the overall consensus seems to be that it's better than the 2017 version but it still isn't very good.

I didn’t have high expectations going in, I didn’t even think the movie was that great myself, and I’m not a fan of the runtime either. Exactly why I don't take criticism towards this movie serious. (It's not perfect) but how we have a discussion when so many detractors are f***ing intellectually dishonest and obviously bitter that this movie even exists?

The man gets hated on for having a unique voice, yea it's not for everyone, but some people would rather eat the same s*** over and over than bother with something that is slightly different.

Unfortunately he has the sophistication of a 13 year old. He tries to copy some well known directors and the influences are clear. But the “Snyderfied” execution just ends up not as impactful.

This was an earlier look at what he might do but he said if he were to continue he he has a whole set of new storyboards we haven’t seen. The general idea of the Knightmare timeline will likely be similar tho
