I've finally listened to Velvet for the first time, and man what a trip it was. during the listen I was thinking how great it would be for JMSN to record a soundtrack for Scarface remake Real Thing intro sounds exactly like something taken from Scarface scene. it's also dope how he trying different things there in compare to his older albums. songs like Levy or Inferno are completely different from tracks can be found on previous projects.

If I had to pick my least favorite album it would be It is. many unnecessary and bland songs.

and s/t (The Blue Album) is better than I remembered.

i agree: 'it is.' is probably his weakest effort, still got some great songs on it (cruel intentions, hypnotize, be a man , possessed)

velvet is just so perfect man mans really outdone himself with it.
