Capitalism will be the end of planet Earth, but at least it won. That's the important thing.

The fact that Communist Cuba still exists to this day even after US brutal embargo proves that it works pretty well honestly. Lol
Communism implies you can trust your government and that’s just stupid at this point so yeah f*** communism
Capitalism and communism both are equally killing the world to me. It’s human nature to destroy this b****, not a political agenda

The 20th century, and thus early forms of communism, were not concerned with the climate. Industrialization is inherently extractive and produces greenhouse gasses. Capitalism is unconstrained consumption and profit seeking. The two together will turn this planet into a cinder.
As Nordic countries are way ahead in terms of renewables and China is ramping up its nuclear energy, the US is creating Elon Musks with green subsidies. His cousin also did a solar energy scam which Tesla had to bail out. That's environmental capitalism in America.
In for the shambles
LMAOOO
By the 1990s, 40% of Russia's territory began demonstrating symptoms of significant ecological stress, largely due to a diverse number of environmental issues, including deforestation, energy irresponsibility, pollution, and nuclear waste

hmmm draining of aral sea, great leap forward's ecological impacts, chernobyl, etc.
the whole climate point thing is that socialism/communism can respond to the climate crisis in a sufficient manner because profit is not the end goal.
capitalism can never do this, because in order to respond at the appropriate scale, you cannot have this endless growth inherent to capitalism.
