Generally blacks are in one since -- those he knows, the younger generation is not the same as the old, but still a minority.

And comparatively, "latinos" (and this depends on how he's classifying and if hispanics count) are a diverse group because he encompasses white, black, and native descended people. The majority of whom are one of a few things: self hating conservative, religious conservative, white, and a small inkling of left leaning people. So the diversity really is only on the racial level, but the ideology ain't much different from black people. It's just the little caveats of "pulling b the bootstraps, I got mine" and "i may speak spanish but I'm not like them" that differentiates.

So I'd say its his underlying prejudice (read as prejudgments) that led to this, but if you suddenly expect an old white moderate democrat to be attuned to everything just because he was around a "black" man for eight years really come on now.

Biden is not entitled to any voted, and he's done his fair share of questionable things. But my statement was directed to people who think in binary like this thread title.

Holding an elected official accountable and to the highest standard is not based on their campaign promises, because I'm sure we as United States citizens know that s*** is CHOP. Which is why simply casting a vote for the “lesser of two evils” is not the end of our civic duties. Voter turnout for young people was straight ass in many states, yet they are the ones most vocal. Politics should be a part of everyones life because it is most undoubtedly a part of everyones.
