I don't like Joe nearly as much as the rest of you do. He obsessed with Drake, but like Akademiks, he makes up/goes out of his way to further narratives about Drake that can damage his image and are hurtful even when knowing it isn't true. Akademiks single-handedly started the narrative of Drake having a sweatshop and would further that narrative every chance he got and try to act like it was just jokes but we all know how people ran with that narrative to the point that Drake had to quickly address it and dead it on the Rap Radar podcast interview. Joe Budden came out saying Drake had surgery and would prove it by getting his surgeon to admit it, but he never ever did that. How can you just go around saying random s*** about someone that you can't prove? That's slander and you can get sued. People are just lucky Drake doesn't go around suing people even though sometimes, I wish he would.

Drake should be smart enough to keep people like that at arm's length. Doesn't matter how much they claim to be Drake fans, those are the people who can do/say things to ruin your life and career if they're in a bad mood or ever feel like you've wronged them.

As for doing interviews, as far as I'm concerned Drake has addressed everything he needs to address with the Rap Radar podcast interview. I preferred getting a long and extensive interview to getting several interviews where he'd have been asked the same questions over and over again. It was also an interview to wrap up the decade. Makes no sense for Drake to go on a press run months before he drops an album/starts a new decade.

Joe himself sounded really doubtful about getting the interview and even more so now that he's already done one with Elliott Wilson/B. Dot.
