Drake does not attend any conference calls, meetings, he almost never even steps foot into the building.

In that regard, he's as close to an independent artist as you can get w/o being independent. It's the true definition of OPM, and applying said principles to the music industry.

The label knows nothing. Future calls them on a Thursday night and says 'Drake's dropping tonight make it happen' that is literally the extent of the label's input regarding Drake.

He does what he wants. And that's facts.
